THE numbers have been drawn in Wednesday’s lotto – as a jackpot worth over €4million was up for grabs for Irish punters.

The numbers drawn in the main Lotto draw were 31, 38, 39, 40, 42, 47 and bonus 43.

The Lotto Plus One draw numbers were 2, 4, 27, 31, 37, 42 and bonus 7.

While the winning Lotto Plus Two digits were 1, 12, 16, 17, 30, 36 and 34.

National Lottery bosses revealed there were no winners in any of tonight’s draws.

Earlier today, a lucky Midlands man collected a €100,000 scratch card prize at Lotto HQ in Dublin today – but he won’t tell his family until Christmas Day.

Instead, the lucky 28-year-old will break the news by surprising them with a cheque for €10,000 each.

He said: “I cannot wait to see their faces when they open the boxes on Christmas morning and see what is inside.

“I am going to say nothing about this win until then.”

The Romanian man, who came to Ireland to find work six years ago, purchased his winning Christmas Millionaire Raffle scratch card in Mace in Monard, Co. Tipperary.

The winner says he also plans to pay for his family to take a trip his homeland after Christmas to visit relatives.

And the man – who also wants to do up their gaff – is hoping his Lotto luck stays around and gets him a new job in 2018.
