Hamilton Lottery For Seattle Opens Sunday Morning

“Hamilton” is coming to Seattle’s Paramount Theater on Tuesday.

The five-week run of the smash Broadway musical sold out pretty quickly. And while there are tickets available on the secondary market, you can expect to pay above face value. They initially sold for $69 to $179, but he lowest price found on Ticketmaster’s verified resale site is $255.

The drawing opens at 11 a.m. Pacific time two days before each performance date and will close at 9 a.m. the following day. Winners and non winners will be notified at around 11 a.m. the day before the show.

“Hamilton” is the Tony-winning musical from Lin-Manuel Miranda that tells the story of the America’s founding through Alexander Hamilton, the nation’s first treasury secretary. The show is still running on Broadway, has an open-ended engagement in Chicago, and is drawing raves on the West End in London. The Seattle run features the first shows for “Hamilton’s” second touring company.
