Gold Coast Man Wins More Than $1M In Wednesday Lotto

A GOLD COAST man is more than $1m richer after winning the Division One prize in last night’s Lotto draw.

The man, who did not want to be identified, said couldn’t believe he had all the winning numbers lined up: 35, 29, 14, 37, 16 and 38 with supplementary numbers 40 and 24.

He won the $1m draw, plus division two six times which collected an extra $26,700.90.

“I tell you, I nearly had a heart attack last night – I couldn’t sleep,” he said.

“When I looked at the numbers and saw them I thought ‘what’?

“I had the six winning numbers and then when I looked again I had the supplementary numbers as well. Every number was a winner.

The nearly-retired man said he would continue to work despite the winnings and wouldn’t “rush into anything.”

“I’ll take my time and be considered with what I do,” he said.

The man bought his ticket via thelott.com for draw 3735.

Last financial year there were 82 division one winners across The Lott’s lottos.
