Bells Resident Wins Half Grand Scratch Ticket Prize From Texas Lottery

BELLS, Tex. (KXII) — John Williams Faber claimed a top prizewinning ticket worth $500 per week for 20 years in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game, Weekly Half Grand.

The Texas Lottery announced Wednesday that Faber chose the cash value option and will receive one lump sum payment of $308,120.14.The ticket was purchased at Kroger 824, at 1820 N. Loy Lake Road in Sherman.

Faber claimed the second of four top prizes available in the game.

Weekly Half Grand offers more than $17 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 4.62, including break-even prizes.
